Everton have been having a fairytale run under their new manager Sam Allardyce as the Toffees are yet to taste defeat under their new boss.

Everton won their Monday night fixture against Swansea as they beat a struggling Paul Clement side 3-1 at home. Now in their next Premier League fixture, they take on Chelsea at home and here too they seemed to have received a major boost.

Chelsea faced AFC Bournemouth on Wednesday night in the Carabao Cup quarter-final and it turned out to be a successful outing thanks to Alvaro Morata. The Blues took the lead in the 13th minute of the match thanks to a Willian goal but Bournemouth found hard and found the equaliser in the final minute of regulation time. But it was Spaniard Alvaro Morata who had the final say in the game as he put the Blues back infront in the 91st minute and the match ended 2-1.

But that performance from Morata has definitely come at a cost for Antonio Conte and his side.

Alvaro Morata not only scored the winning goal of the match but also picked up his fifth yellow card of the season – meaning he will be suspended for the game against Everton during the weekend.

This absence of Morata will most certainly be a huge headache for the Chelsea manager. Conte does have the option of Michy Batshuayi but the Italian up until now has not really trusted the Belgian and his abilities. So this will effectively mean that the Chelsea manager will field a makeshift striker in the form of Pedro or Willian.
