West Ham United started the summer with the announcement of Manuel Pellegrini as their new boss and immediately the fans were hoping that the former league winner could change the fate of the club next season.

And during the course of the transfer window, Pellegrini spent close to a 100 million pounds in bringing in 12 new players to the London Stadium.

But after four games into the new season and the Hammers do not have a single point to show for their summer endeavours.

West Ham have lost each and every game in the Premier League so far and they take on Everton and Chelsea in their next two fixtures.

So clearly in such a scenario, the London media has been abuzz with reports that Manuel Pellegrini might be shown the door in the coming few weeks while some major publications have refuted that claim in saying the Hammers board are ready to stick by their manager.

And now former West Ham forward and current Sky Sports pundit Craig Bellamy has come out to give his verdict on all the manager sacking debate.

Bellamy said: “He’s had good success in Spain but this is a different ball game now, now he’s going to be up against it,”

“Does he know the players? I’m not sure he knew many of the players they were signing, I could be completely wrong, but knowing what I heard of him at Man City I’m not sure he will have done as much homework and watched as much of them to know his best team and know their weaknesses.

“I’m not into the sacking of managers, especially after three, four games… unless there is something really seriously going wrong behind the scenes.

“At the end of the day West Ham now have appointed this guy, you’ve got to stick with him, got to stick with him.

“It’s your decision, you thought he was good enough only two or three months ago to bring him in, now if it isn’t going the way you would want it, that’s football sometimes but you’ve got to give him the benefit of the doubt because you must have thought he was good to bring him in.”

A couple of days ago we had discussed how Manuel Pellegrini had jet-setted off to a holiday during the International break and also why it will not be easy to sack him right now.
