Rangers FC have spend bags full of money during the summer transfer window which saw them bring in as many as 15 new players in addition to their new manager Steven Gerrard.

But it seems that the Light Blues might be in line to lose another £100,000.

Kenny Miller and Lee Wallace have won the appeal to the SPFL regarding the disciplinary action that Rangers took against them last season.

Kenny Miller and Wallace were suspended by Rangers due to an alleged altercation with manager Graeme Murty last season and subsequently, the duo was fined two and four weeks’ wages respectively by Rangers.

After the judgement was leaked in the media, Rangers immediately released a statement expressing discontent over the judgement and also announced that they will now plan out the future course of action.

The club said“The club is surprised by the decision of the SPFL’s Tribunal on this matter and disappointed that the decision seems to have been leaked before the club were advised of it by the SPFL.

“Decisions on such matters deal largely with procedural issues, not the conduct which gave rise to the club’s sanctions.

“The club was only presented with a 40 plus page decision after 4 pm this afternoon (Wednesday) and will now take some time to consider matters before deciding how to proceed.”

But even though the Light Blues have put up a brave face but the harsh reality is that the club might have to cough up as much as £100,000 in the wages that were fined by the Ibrox outfit.

Apart from the fact that Gers will have to pay the wages to Miller and Wallace, the fans will not be happy with the fact that club have come out so harshly against the duo.

While Kenny Miller has left the club at the end of the previous season but Lee Wallace has chosen to stay back and fight for his place. But with the club releasing such an outright statement many feel that it is now impossible for the full-back to play for Rangers again.
