Graeme Murty lied about Bates
Graeme Murty Rangers FC

Rangers FC might have started the new season with a very positive tone but with each passing week the gloom seems to be returning back to the Ibrox.

Two weeks ago, Rangers drew their third Premiership game vs Motherwell 3-3 and the very next weekend they lost the season’s first Old Firm Derby which meant that the Light Blues have now managed to pick up only a single win in their four league matches.

Celtic who compared to their Glasgow rivals had a poor summer transfer window are now second on the league table while the Gers after signing as many as 15 new players are seventh.

And now to add insult to their injuries, Kenny Miller and Lee Wallace have won the appeal to the SPFL regarding the disciplinary action that Rangers took against them last season.

The club have come out strongly to condemn the decision from the SPFL but the fans are not too happy with how the club have dealt with the whole situation.

Many fans believe that no player is bigger than the club and the punishments handed out to Kenny Miller and Lee Wallace was just and fair.

But at the same time, they also feel that Rangers let Graeme Murty walk out as a free man.

A large section of the fans believe that Murty, who returned to his job as a youth coach at the end of the previous season was equally guilty and should be immediately thrown out of the club.

Rangers fans know very well that after the club’s official statement on the SPFL judgement there no absolutely no chance that Lee Wallace will make an appearance for the club any time soon. So all they want from their beloved club is to be sensible and sell off the full-back for a handsome fee.
