Dani Ceballos has certainly made a positive impact at Arsenal ever since his loan move during the summer transfer window from Real Madrid.

The midfielder has featured in 11 Premier League games so far this season managing to make two assists and now it looks like he’s desperate to stay at the club beyond the summer.

According to reports, Dani Ceballos has urged his parent club, Real Madrid to let him join Arsenal on a permanent basis.

It’s still unclear as to what Real Madrid think about this transfer but given that Zidane is not too fond of the player, it shouldn’t be a problem for the Gunners to sign him permanently.

But the major issue right now is whether Arsenal actually want him as a regular feature for the next few seasons.

While Dani Ceballos has played some good football for the North London outfit but he’s still a fairly long way away from securing a regular place in the first XI.

And so Arsenal would undoubtedly want to wait until the end of the season before they a conclusive decision regarding the playmaker.

Ceballos still has enough time for him to prove himself at Arsenal but if he really hopes to get things moving then he will have to start showing his capability against the tougher sides instead of only bossing the midfield against the minnows.

The Premier League outfit obviously have an option to buy him at the end of the 2019-20 season but there’s no way they will try and make the deal permanent during the January transfer window.

As far as Real Madrid are concerned they too would be happy to wait until next summer because they wouldn’t want things to get sour between them and the player unnecessarily just because of some hasty decisions.
