Dani Olmo played a key role for Spain in the U21 European Championship triumph and the midfielder has been linked with a host of clubs.

Both Manchester United and Spurs have been keeping tabs on the 21-year-old for a couple of months now and Dinamo Zagreb are ready to sell him off this summer.

Dani Olmo is a product of the famed Barcelona youth academy and he joined Dinamo Zagreb back in 2015. But with a string of fine performances under his belt, Zagreb has ready to cash in on him.

Recently it was reported by Marca that Spurs had reached an agreement to sign the attacking midfielder.

Calciomercato reported: “English Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur are closing in acquiring services of Spain U21 international Dani Olmo.

“….according to Madrid-based media outlet Marca, Spurs are in a prime position to sign the young attacking winger who plays for Croatian club Dinamo Zagreb and are ready to offer fee in the region of €25 million.”

Ultimately these rumours though fizzled out and now Spanish media outlets are reporting that Atletico Madrid have also joined the likes of Man United and Spurs in the race to sign Dani Olmo.

The report suggests, “Tottenham, Manchester United and Sevilla are the ones that have most played. But in recent days, Atlético de Madrid has also knocked on the door of Dani Olmo.

“The runner-up of Europe leaves with advantage with respect to the rest in what to the negotiation with the Dinamo de Zagreb talks about, but to the Catalan soccer player, it wishes to return to Spain after several years out.

“At 21, Dani Olmo, attacking midfielder who moves through the attack, will leave Zagreb, and Atlético is attentive.

“Although to reach the Metropolitan, there should be an exit: Correa or Vitolo, who are already working under Simeone, although they know that the club will listen to the proposals that come for them.”

TransferMarkt values Dani Olmo at €15 million but reports suggest that a transfer fee of around €25 million should be enough for Dinamo Zagreb to offload him this summer.
