Pellegrini West Ham United Premier League

Declan Rice has been the centre of debate at West Ham United for a couple of weeks now and the youngster seems to be on the brink of moving out of the London stadium.

Rice is easily one of the brightest talents to have come out of the Hammers academy in recent time but Pellegrini has been struggling to keep the youngster at the club.

Declan Rice currently earns £3,000 per week and with his deal set to expire next summer, West Ham United are desperately trying to make him sign a new deal.

But as of now, all the efforts from the club have failed miserably as Rice’s representatives have been holding out for more money.

Reports suggested that the Hammers were ready to offer Declan Rice a new deal worth £15,000 per week plus a salary raise after every 15 Premier League games.

But that contract has been rejected by the youngster as sources claim his representatives are holding out for a higher basic wage.

Last week, Manuel Pellegrini said he was confident that Declan Rice’s contract situation would be resolved very soon and the youngster will put pen on paper to a new deal.

And keeping in line with this statement, West Ham United have reportedly tabled their final bid to the midfielder.

As per the fresh deal, Declan Rice will receive £21,000 per week, a £5,000 salary increase after every 15 Premier League games.

Reports from London suggest that this will be the final offer that the club is willing to make and if Rice’s representatives are not happy with it then the youngster will be allowed to move out at the end of the season.

Declan Rice broke into the first team setup last season and he immediately became a key member of the West Ham line up. The youngster has carried forward with that form this season too and almost everyone feels a salary of just £3,000 per week is not sufficient for a talent like him.

West Ham too recognize that the youngster has potential and are scampering to tie him down to a long-term contract.
