Liverpool forward Divock Origi has been put up for sale and according to West Ham United insider ExWHUemployee, the Hammers could still try and sign the forward.

Wolves are looking to revamp their squad for the upcoming season and in a recent update it was claimed that they have made their first official bid for the forward but their offer was way off Liverpool’s actual demands.

Journalist Ekrem Konur wrote on Twitter: “Wolverhampton have made a £10m bid for Divock Origi to Liverpool. Liverpool are demanding £20m.”

Liverpool are refusing to lower their asking price for Origi, something which could be good news for West Ham United since this will not only keep Wolves at bay for some time but will also allow David Moyes’ side to make a decision.

ExWHUemployee said, as quoted: “I think it’s interesting to keep an eye on Origi at Liverpool.

“He’s someone we’ve been interested in for a while, I think if a loan deal could happen for him and potentially other players from Liverpool – I don’t think you can sign two players from the same club, but there’s a number of players at Liverpool that if they’re available for a loan, we could go for one or the other.

“So I’m talking about [Alex] Oxlade-Chamberlain maybe, [Xherdan] Shaqiri, but these are all hypothetical – we’ve not made any moves for them yet, neither have we for Origi at this point.”

West Ham United have an upper hand in signing Divock Origi since they can offer him European football next season and if Wolves are not ready to pay £20 million then the Hammers will have a free hand at signing him.
