Liverpool forward Divock Origi has been given a major exit route with Napoli and Wolverhampton Wanderers are interested in signing him during the ongoing transfer window.

Mirror are claiming: “The forward has struggled to make an impression since then and has fallen down the pecking order behind Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino, Mohamed Salah and Diogo Jota.

“There has been interest in Origi from Wolves and Napoli, and according to The Athletic, Origi will be allowed to depart on a permanent transfer if Liverpool’s £20m asking price is met.

“Some interested parties have found his price tag somewhat steep, however, and a loan deal remains a possibility.”

Will Divock Origi move out on loan this summer?

Divock Origi played only 181 minutes across nine Premier League games last season and his current deal expires next summer.

He is valued at £10.80 million and with just one year left in his deal, Liverpool are asking double than his market value. And this is the main reason why teams like Napoli and Wolves are struggling to meet the demands.

According to Journalist Ekrem Konur, Wolves have made their first offer move for Divock Origi but their offer is not even close to what Liverpool are demanding.

He wrote: “Wolverhampton have made a £10m bid for Divock Origi to Liverpool. Liverpool are demanding £20m.”

Liverpool are playing tough for someone who will be a free agent next summer so they will either have to drop their asking price or will have to be ready for Wijnaldum 2.0.

Wolves can really use a player like Divock Origi but we don’t think they will be ready to pay £20 million for the 26-year-old, especially since he played so little football last season.
