Egypt are set to make their first World Cup appearance since 1990 and the African nation was handed a huge setback after their marquee player Mo Salah suffered a shoulder injury during the Champions League final a couple of weeks back.

Salah had to be taken off the pitch in the first half after he injured his shoulder during a challenge from Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos.

Immediately after the match, rumours surfaced that Salah has suffered a dislocated shoulder and according to the doctors a serious dislocation generally needed 12 to 16 weeks to properly heal.

This put a serious doubt over the forward’s participation in the World Cup but now that the Egyptian FA have included Mo Salah in their 23-man squad, there is a high possibility that the Liverpool ace will feature in the tournament.
