Man United suffered a shock 2-1 loss at the hands of Sheffield United in the Premier League this week and defender Eric Bailly was an absentee for that game.

Eric Bailly had been the in-form defender for Man United over the past few weeks but the player was not part of the match-day squad on Wednesday after he had suffered a knock in training.

Due to that minor injury, the Ivorian was a major doubt for the Arsenal game but Solskjaer has now confirmed that he will be fit and available for selection this weekend.

The manager said in his pre-match press conference: “He’s travelling to Arsenal. Apart from that, we didn’t get any other losses against Sheffield other than the points. The boys are all fit, raring to go.”

Anthony Martial landed awkwardly on his shoulder during the Blades match and some rumours had claimed that the Frenchman could also miss the trip to London.

But the manager made it clear that Martial, like Eric Bailly, is also fully fit and will join the team for the trip to the capital.

“They’re[Martial and Bailly] okay,” the manager told MUTV. “They should both be travelling down.”

“We’re still a good group all working together. Once in a while, we just hit a low like we did on Wednesday, but we’re good to go again.”

The return of Eric Bailly will be great news for the Manchester United manager but we will have to wait and see if Ole use him alongside Harry Maguire or does the boss prefer the partnership of Maguire and Victor Lindelof on Saturday?

As for Anthony Martial, the forward played the whole match vs Sheffield but still was one of the poorest United players on the pitch that day. So it will not be a big shock if he is moved to the bench vs the Gunners and it’s Edinson Cavani who gets to play up front.
