Liverpool held Manchester City to a 0-0 draw at Anfield on Sunday which meant the Reds are still unbeaten in the league.

Guardiola’s side won a late penalty only for Riyad Mahrez to send the ball flying into the sky.

And after that miss, the whole world is busy mocking the Algerian while his teammates and the manager try and defend him.

But on the other side, there is a player who was subtly ignored by his own teammates during the match – and that incident has largely gone unnoticed.

We are talking about midfielder Jordan Henderson.

Jordan Henderson was a hero for Liverpool last season but now with the arrival of Naby Keita and Fabinho fans are slowly starting to realize what an average player the Englishman really is.

During the past couple of games, the Liverpool fans have targetted Jordan Henderson for his slow pace and his lack of moving the ball quickly.

And now it seems even his own teammates do not really trust him with the ball.

A small video clip has emerged from the Liverpool vs Man City game where Jordan Henderson is clearly asking for the ball to be played to him but his teammates are clearly rejecting his request by playing square.

Jordan Henderson was surrounded by some Manchester City players who are capable of playing the pressing game really well.

So clearly the midfielder’s teammates came to the conclusion that Jordan Henderson would not be able to keep the ball with his level of skills.

Hence, the promptly chose to ignore him.

Liverpool are now tied on 20 points alongside Chelsea and Manchester City but if Jurgen Klopp is really serious about dominating the league he should consider dropping Jordan Henderson down the pecking order and try out the combination of Fabinho and Naby Keita.
