Manchester City drew their away game against Liverpool on Sunday meaning right now three clubs are tied at 20 points on top of the Premier League table.

City were the better side at Anfield and their hard work was duly rewarded by a penalty right before full time. Unfortunately, though, Riyad Mahrez failed to convert from the penalty spot meaning the Citizens went back home with just a single point.

And after the match, the so-called solid Liverpool team have received heavy criticism from fans and pundits alike and the person who has been at the centre of all the debate is midfielder Jordan Henderson.

Henderson had a really poor game on Sunday once again proving that the likes of Naby Keita and Fabinho will do a much better job in his place.

And talking about the mediocrity of Jordan Henderson, former Manchester City and Liverpool player Craig Bellamy compared him with Jorginho.

And during the comparison, Bellamy revealed why Chelsea’s summer signing Jorginho has made a greater impact this season and most Liverpool fans believe the current pundit has hit the nail on the head.

Comparing Jorginho and Henderson, Craig Bellamy said:

“I’m a big fan of Henderson but, at times, he looks to get it too deep,

“He needs to play the other side of the [opposition] forwards. And I just think he’s too keen to go back, too keen to go sideways.

“And that’s where you look at Jorginho at Chelsea, who’s able to create and also move men away to allow one of the centre-backs to step in. And that’s a way to outnumber teams.”

Jordan Henderson’s recent frailties came up during Liverpool’s clash against Chelsea a fortnight ago when the Liverpool captain and Jorginho came face to face.

The Chelsea midfielder was leaps and bounds ahead of his counterpart, and the only thing Jordan Henderson could do was back the ball back on every possible occasion.

Jorginho has settled rather quickly in the Premier League and Jurgen Klopp now has to make a tough call of selecting his players based on form rather than the name on the back of the shirts.

Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City are the only unbeaten side in the Premier League right now but Man City will have their dominance tested as they play Spurs and Manchester United within the next 30 days.

Chelsea take on Man United right after the international break but after that, they have a relatively easy set of fixture and Liverpool surely have to sweat it out as they face Arsenal and PSG in quick sucession after the international break.
