Everton managed to pick up a hard-fought point against Manchester United in the Premier League last weekend but they will have no time to rest since the Toffees will travel to London on Sunday in order to take on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Everton might be 11th on the league table but they are only five points off fifth meaning a win against Chelsea would push them even closer to that elusive Champions League spot.

The Merseyside outfit go into this match having lost just one out of their last six league matches meaning it will be a real uphill task for the Blues to try and pick up anything against Carlo Ancelotti’s men.

Everton team news vs Chelsea:

Holgate was partnered by Michael Keane in central defence during the draw vs Manchester United last weekend but this time around the Everton boss is expected to name Yerry Mina alongside Holgate.

If Lucas Digne fails to recover from his injury in time then once again it will be Baines who will be starting at that left-back role on Sunday.

Seamus Coleman might have picked up a thigh strain during the 1-1 draw vs Manchester United and the right-back will not be ready to start against Chelsea in which case it will be Sidibe who will fill up his void.

Last weekend, Andre Gomes made his first start since recovering from that horror tackle and the midfielder will surely be named in the starting line-up alongside young Tom Davies.

Morgan Schneiderlin has undergone surgery to repair his knee damage and the midfielder is expected to remain on the sidelines for some time meaning both Walcott and Sigurdsson will be named in the first XI.

Richarlison seems to have found a new gear under the guidance of his new Everton boss and the forward will once again partner Calvert-Lewin up front against Chelsea.

Calvert-Lewin was denied an injury-time winner against Manchester United but the youngster has been on song for Everton having already netted 13 goals in just 26 league games for the Goodison Park outfit.

Everton have managed to score in all 10 of their league games under the management of Carlo Ancelotti and we expect them to pick up something this Sunday as well.

While Chelsea do go into this game at the back of a fine 2-0 win over Liverpool in the FA Cup but the reality is that the Blues have been very poor at home this season and the kind of form that Everton are in right now, it’s very much possible that the Stamford Bridge outfit fall out of the top-four by the end of the weekend.
