Gabriel Martinelli has stepped up in the absence of Pierre Emerick Aubameyang and during their past two matches, Arsenal has really benefitted with the youngster filling in for the Gabon international.

The Gunners brought in the youngster from Brazilian side Ituano and he seems to be growing at the rapid pace.

The 18-year-old found the net during the weekend against Sheffield United and during the London Derby too, Gabriel Martinelli scored Arsenal’s first goal of the match vs Chelsea on Tuesday.

And after the match, everyone was raving about the talent and ability that the youngster poses but Hector Bellerin has brought out another side of the Brazilian.

“To be fair there are not many,” he said as quoted.

“A lot of people talk about his talent, but what people don’t see is that Gabi is a professional.

“He turns up early every day. He does all the stuff and everything anyone asks him to do. He is the first player to press and the last player to leave everything on the pitch.

“The goals are just a plus. He helps us in every single way and the thing that everyone needs to praise him for his attitude. That is what makes him a player.

“I think he is obviously really young in his career – so many things can happen – but if he keeps his head where it is right now, he is going to go really far for sure.”

So far, Gabriel Martinelli has featured in 13 Premier League games for the Gunners and has found the net 3 three times but it is in the Europe League and the EFL Cup where he’s seen major success.

The youngster has managed to net 7 goals in both these tournaments and after his performances were’s sure Mikel Arteta will be ready to use him even more during the second half of the season.
