With the Premier League season about to start all the 20 teams are busy giving the final touch-ups to their team and with a couple of days left, the most important question has started popping up.

Which team will finish where on the league table at the end of May?

And former Manchester United full-back and current pundit Gary Neville has given his thoughts about the fate of the league.

While talking to Sky Sports, Neville shed some light on one particular team who despite have a failed summer transfer window might have a wonderful run in the Premier League during the 2018-19 season.

The team in question is Mauricio Pochettino’s side Tottenham Hotspur.

Gary Neville said“You look at Tottenham and they are moving to a new stadium and they are playing a lot of away games at the start,

“They had nine players who played right to the end of the World Cup and only came back on Monday.

“The odds are stacked against them – but it doesn’t seem to panic Mauricio Pochettino. He seems to be relaxed about it.

“They haven’t done any business in the transfer window, but there doesn’t seem to be any furore over that. There is a lot stacked up against Tottenham this season when you look at it but the spirit, togetherness, continuity and stability is there.

“The manager looks after the players and has them playing his way, so I think Tottenham will finish above Arsenal, who are one of the intriguing parts of this season.”

Tottenham Hotspur have never been known as a big spending club and their manager Mauricio Pochettino has always relied on making smart buys rather than splashing bags of money on a superstar.

But having said that, many pundits feel that this might be the last season for Pochettino to get a major silverware for the Lilywhites and if he fails to do that then he risks losing a number of his star players next summer.
