Remember the time a couple of years ago when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer chose to give a cold shoulder to Liverpool?

Well, it looks like Ryan Giggs has also walked down the same path.

The year was 2014 and Ole Gunner Solskjaer was managing Cardiff City when he was asked about Liverpool’s chances of winning the Premier League.

And to this, the current Man United boss had a very straight forward answer, “I couldn’t care less.”

Well, current Wales boss Ryan Giggs was asked about his thought on Manchester City defending the Premier League title this season.

“I’ve got enough to worry about, please don’t bring that up,” Giggs said.

“They’re a fantastic team, aren’t they?

“They’ve already got one and United going out of the FA Cup makes it a little bit easier for them.

“They’ve got a long way to go but just like us in the treble, you need a lot of things to go for you. That bit of luck, which they had at the weekend.

“But they are a brilliant team. It will be interesting to see what they can achieve.”

After the friendly vs Trinidad and Tobago, the Ryan Giggs led Wales side will take on Slovakia in the Euro qualifiers at the Cardiff City Stadium.
