Just earlier this week there were reports that Roman Abramovich was planning to sack Maurizio Sarri sometime during the international break.

And before the Chelsea fans could recover from this news, now fresh reports are claiming that the Chelsea boss is looking to sell off the club.

The Russian has seemingly lost interest in Chelsea and it looks like Sir Jim Ratcliffe wants to buy the Stamford Bridge outfit.

Roman Abramovich bought the club back in 2003 and since then the Russian business tycoon has turned the London club into a major European powerhouse.

But during the past couple of seasons, things have not gone too well for the west Londoners and finally, Roman Abramovich has decided to part ways with the Blues.

Currently, the Chelsea owner has an asking price of £2.5billion and Sir Jim Ratcliffe is said to be interested in buying the club.

Ratcliffe is a self-made billionaire who is said to be worth as much as £21bn but the only thing stopping him from buying Chelsea is the price tag.

Ratcliffe is not ready to pay £2.5billion and rumours have it that he is expected to ask Roman Abramovich to lower the price.

If the British billionaire ends up buying Chelsea it will surely be a great step forward for the London outfit more so since the 66-year-old is an avid football lover and a current ticket holder at Chelsea football club.

And just so that you know, he is a Manchester United fan growing up.
