Arsenal forward Alex Iwobi was recently asked to name the best XI he has played with during his time at the Emirates Stadium.

And while most of the names were pretty predictable, Iwobi did chose one man which has come as a complete surprise to many fans.

While naming the midfielders, Alex Iwobi named Santi Cazorla and Mesut Ozil but then went on to name Dundee’s Glen Kamara as his third choice midfielder.

Glen Kamara is a product of Arsenal’s youth academy but the player chose to leave England and join Dundee a couple of seasons ago.

“In midfield, I’m going to put Glen Kamara,” Alex Iwobi said.

“Every time growing up for the under-18s we used to have the ball all the time. We used to keep the ball, dictate play, and even now he’s doing well playing for Dundee and Finland’s first team, I’ll give it to him.”

And this season, the midfielder has been in tremendous form for Dundee but this selection from Alex Iwobi will bring the Rangers fans most joy.

Glen Kamara is out of contract at Dundee this summer and the midfielder has already signed a pre-contract with Rangers.

Some rumours also suggest that the Teddy Bears want the player to arrive at Ibrox this month even though Dundee are not too keen to let him leave during the middle of the season.

But whether he arrives at Rangers this month or during the summer transfer window but the Gers fans are now more or less certain that Glen Kamara is a recipe for success.
