Pundit Harry Redknapp has named Harry Kane as to best striker in the Premier League but he also feels, Man Utd are not worthy of him.

Man United have been heavily linked with the England captain over the past couple of months despite Spurs making it clear that he is not up for sale. And as per Redknapp, switching to Man Utd from Spurs will not be worth it.

“Harry Kane is a special player, he’s the best centre-forward certainly in the Premier League and – of his type – I don’t think there’s a better centre forward anywhere,” Redknapp told talkSPORT, via Standard.

“Okay, he’s not [Lionel] Messi, he’s not [Cristiano] Ronaldo, but as a centre-forward that does what he does, there isn’t anyone better.

“He would be a great fit for Man United, he’d be a great fit for any team… but Man United at the moment are not better than Tottenham. I wouldn’t say there’s much between them, both teams are trying to get into the top four.

“Whether Real Madrid or Barcelona came in, he might fancy a move like that one day.

“But at the moment he belongs to Tottenham, and unless Jose Mourinho and Daniel Levy decide to will cash in if it’s a crazy offer and rebuild the team with that money, unless Jose says, ‘I’ve got three players here we can sign and build a better team with’, then I’m sure he’ll stay at Tottenham.”

Harry Kane to Man Utd: Do the OT outfit deserve him?

Man Utd are desperate to add a new centre-forward in the summer and most major publications claim Harry Kane is going to be that man.

Daniel Levy has hinted that Kane will only be sold for a price tag of £200m and even this absurd amount is not pushing away Ole Gunnar Solskjaer which clearly indicates how badly Ole needs a new frontman.

And perhaps the biggest reason why everyone is so confident about Kane making the Man Utd switch is due to the player recently admitting that he could move out of White Hart Lane in order to win trophies.

So as much as we would like to agree with Harry Redknapp, Man United surely have more chances of winning trophies than the Lilywhites.

Also, we have a feeling that if Spurs cannot secure a Champions League spot for the upcoming season then Harry Kane will himself hand in a transfer request.
