Tottenham Hotspur will take on Liverpool at Wembley on Saturday in the Premier League and Mauricio Pochettino might have a huge selection headache.

The fact that the London outfit have not signed any new players during the summer transfer window has already brought a lot of criticism towards the manager as well as the manager.

And now whenever a big name player becomes unavailable for a game, the attention will immediately be drawn towards the poor transfer window.

Before the Liverpool clash this weekend, Spurs have a number of injury concerns but perhaps their biggest setback will be the fact that Hugo Lloris might miss the game.

Lloris is currently suffering from a thigh strain which is expected to rule him out of the Liverpool clash on Saturday.

Lloris did not play for France during the international break which has led to multiple reports claiming that the thigh injury is serious.

While the World Cup winner has maintained that he will be fit before the weekend but Spurs are not going to take any chance and will conduct a late fitness test before Liverpool visit town.

If Hugo Lloris cannot pass the fitness test then backup keeper Michel Vorm will take his place infront of the post which will be a huge concern for Pochettino especially when his team will be facing the likes of Mo Salah and Sadio Mane.

England international Dele Alli is also suffering from a muscular stain but Spurs are not too concerned since the medical staff are confident that the midfielder will be fit before the Liverpool clash.
