Rangers FC have assembled a pretty decent squad over the course of the summer and it seems Steven Gerrard is not done with his remodelling.

The Light Blues signed 15 new players during the summer transfer window and also sent out a lot of the old players who were considered dead wood by many.

And now it seems one more player will make his way out of the club during the January transfer window.

We are talking about for club captain and left-back, Lee Wallace.

Lee Wallace was the player every youngster would look up to at the club ever since he moved to the club back in 2011. But over the past couple of months his career graph has gone down at Ibrox and now he looks all set to make an exit.

The left-back along with former teammate Kenny Miller were involved in an alleged altercation with former manager Graeme Murty last season which led to the duo being fined and subsequently suspended.

When Steven Gerrard was appointed as the new boss, one of the first questions that he was asked is whether Lee Wallace would make it back to the team, to which the boss replied that the left-back will be welcomed back to the team as soon as he sorts out his differences with the board.

And this is when everyone thought that Wallace would eventually be back playing for the Light Blues.

But some recent developments have caused some serious doubts over the issue.

Lee Wallace and Kenny Miller recently won an appeal with the SPFL regarding the punishment that was handed out to them by the Rangers management and this decision has not gone down too well with the club.

The Gers have openly criticised the decision suggesting to the fact that Lee Wallace might never get to wear the blue of Rangers again.

And now reports are suggesting the Light Blues are preparing to offload the left-back during the January transfer window.

The Ibrox outfit have signed Borna Barisic who is an out and out left-back and they have also brought in Jon Flanagan from Liverpool who can play on either flank. So naturally in such a scenario, Rangers will be planning to offload Lee Wallace and cash in on the full-back as soon as possible.
