Recently there have been numerous reports that Arsenal are planning to sell off a number of their defenders and the latest rumours revolve around Laurent Koscielny.

The Gunners captain is reportedly on the transfer wishlist of Borussia Dortmund and it is being believed that Emery is more than ready to let the 33-year-old move out of the Emirates.

And as a replacement, the Spanish boss is looking to bring in 19-year-old Zinho Vanheusden.

Zinho Vanheusden is currently under contract with Inter Milan but the centre-back spent the last year out on loan to Standard Liege.

Last season he gave some impressive performances in the Belgium top division for Liege but he will be returning back to Inter Milan once his loan deal expires later this month.

But as things stand, Inter Milan are also sailing on the same boat as Arsenal as they need to accumulate funds for the summer transfer window.

The Serie A side are willing to sell off Vanheusden with Arsenal currently being the frontrunner to sign the teenager.

There is one major issue though.

Recent reports have suggested that both the parties do not have an issue with the transfer fee(undisclosed till now). But Inter Milan want to add a buy-back clause in the transfer deal and this is where Arsenal have an issue.

The reports suggest that Arsenal are more than willing to meet the pricing demands from Inter Milan but the buy-back clause is something that they will not be entertaining at any cost.

And if the Italian outfit cannot size up a deal without the said clause then it is expected that Unai Emery’s club will not be pursuing the centre-back any more.

Zinho Vanheusden was a key player for Liege last season and some experts feel that Arsenal should go ahead and wrap up the deal if the transfer price is on the cheaper side. But if eventually Inter Milan and the Gunners cannot agree on the terms of the negotiations then the defender might head back to Standard Liege on loan for one more season.
