Marko Arnautovic was on the verge of moving out of West Ham United during the January transfer window but someone that deal did not go through.

The Austrian then went on to sign a contract extension at the club and he is now under contract at the London Stadium until 2023.

While many experts claimed that Pellegrini will be able to convince Marko Arnautovic to stay at the club for the upcoming season but its more than evident that the 30-year-old is ready to move out this summer.

Marko Arnautovic has made it clear that even though he is not planning to leave the London Stadium right now but he is most definitely tempted by Champions League football.

Arnautovic said: “Nobody called me, my brother, who is my manager, did not call me either, the newspapers like to put my name in the mouth when it comes to transfers. Maybe I’m on a list, but there is nothing concrete, and I have a contract with West Ham.

“Of course I’m attracted to the Champions League, no matter where. But that’s what every footballer will say.

“I’m very happy in the Premier League, my tendency is not to call my brother and say: Please get me out of West Ham right now.”

And amidst all this, it looks like one of his former clubs – Inter Milan are keeping tabs on him.

Inter Milan had sent scouts to watch Marko Arnautovic and a couple of other players during Austria’s match vs Slovenia last weekend.

Marko Arnautovic has previously played for Inter back in 2009-10 under then manager Jose Mourinho and it is certainly a shocker that the Serie A giants are once again making a move for him this summer.

It is still not certain whether a bid will be made for the forward but given that Inter will be playing in the Champions League next season, will West Ham be able to hold onto Marko Arnautovic if the Italians are genuinely interested?
