Arsenal midfielder Dani Ceballos has had a really mixed bag season at the Emirates ever since moving to the club on loan from Real Madrid.

A combination of injuries and poor form has continuously forced the Spaniard down the pecking order at the club but since Project Restart kickstarted, Dani Ceballos has gotten a lot of game time in the Premier League.

And with his loan spell at Arsenal coming to an end this summer, the 23-year-old has hinted that he could remain in England beyond the summer.

He told Spanish media outlet El Larguero: ‘The owner of my future next year is me. Next year I want to play and I will hardly be able to do it at Real Madrid.

‘If I would return with Zidane? I have to make the decision. He told me this year that the best thing was for me to leave and get experience.

“Everyone makes their decisions and they must be respected, I have nothing to attribute to him because he has always been very clear with me. ‘Betis? It is an option. I do not close the door to play in any club.

“I do not rule out continuing in the Premier [League].”

Will Dani Ceballos stay at the Emirates?

A couple of months ago, the Arsenal fans would not have wanted Dani Ceballos to stay but given the condition they are in right now, the loanee could be a great acquisition.

Matteo Guendouzi has failed to impress while Lucas Torreira could be on his way out in the summer and then there’s also major doubt over Mesut Ozil’s future at the club.

And under so much complexity, signing Dani Ceballos on a permanent deal could be the one of the easier bit of business by the Emirates outfit.

But the Arsenal fans should not rejoice just yet since the midfielder has also hinted that joining La Liga side Real Betis also remains an option for him this summer as playing constant first-team football is his utmost priority next season.
