Federico Chiesa Juventus

According to a report by HITC Football, Premier League side Liverpool are keeping tabs on what Juventus wish to do with Federico Chiesa.

Federico Chiesa has been with Juventus since joining from Fiorentina but his contract expires in 2025 and the Italy forward has yet to agree terms on a new deal.

The forward has played in 18 Serie A games this season for Juventus but journalist Paolo De Paola has hinted that the relationship between Chiesa and Allegri is not great which is why the player could be sold at the end of this season.

His current market value is €50 million and he will be available for nearly the same transfer fee because if he does not sign a new deal then the Old Lady won’t risk losing him as a free agent.

Liverpool, on the other hand, are going to lose Mo Salah to the Saudi League which is why they are actively searching for a replacement and since Federico Chiesa can play on either wing, the Premier League side are following his situation.

The winger has scored and assisted 50 goals in just 113 appearances for Juventus and if he is available at a cut-price deal then Liverpool will be more than happy to bring him on board.

However, the Anfield outfit will have to battle PSG and Bayern Munich because both these clubs have also shown an interest in the Italian international.

If Federico Chiesa is put for sale by Juventus then Liverpool will have to battle two major European powerhouses which will be a bit of an issue for the English side. At both clubs, Chiesa will be guaranteed trophies while at PSG, the winger will be able to replace the outgoing Kylian Mbappe.

Player-wise, Chiesa is fantastic and his versatility across the forward line makes him a very valuable asset and even if Liverpool have to spend €60-70 million for the winger, he will be worth it.

The 26-year-old can play on the left wing, the right-wing, up front, as a second striker and also as a right-sided midfielder. This season, he’s featured mostly as a second striker and in 18 league matches, he’s netted six goals.

If Federico Chiesa isn’t signing a new contract with Juve then he can be a wonderful addition to the Liverpool squad given they can convince him to snub PSG and Bayern.
