When Jose Mourinho was sacked late last month, Man United wasted no time in bringing in former Man United player Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The Norwegian boss has been named as the caretaker boss until the end of the season and Sir Alex Ferguson’s disciple has a really tough job on his hands.

Having said that though, the Molde manager has fared pretty well so far – winning six out of six games in which he has been in charge.

And now speaking about Solskjaer, Paul Pogba has revealed why the caretaker boss might have tasted instant success at Old Trafford.

“It’s like home for him. He knows,” Paul Pogba told BBC.

“Nothing really changed, he just came back to the time of Ferguson. The training, the way we use the ball, it’s everything like before.

“He’s always been really smiley, a person close to the players, understanding them.

“The respect gets a bit higher now but he’s still the same person.

“We have goals, that’s our objective, to go back to the top.

“The top four, we can do it. We know we can do it.”

One of the most important things that Solskjaer has done since taking over at Man United is helping Paul Pogba get back his form.

Pogba was frozen out of the first XI by former manager Jose Mourinho but Solskjaer has given the Frenchman a free role which has really helped the midfielder to impact more games.
