Jesse Lingard Man United

Man United man Jesse Lingard has more or less been a forgotten man this season but as per The Mirror, Inter Milan boss, Antonio Conte wants to sign him for the remainder of the season.

The report claims: “Inter Milan want Jesse Lingard on loan from Manchester United – but only if they can off-load flop buy Christian Eriksen.

“It’s believed Inter boss Antonio Conte is an admirer of Lingard who’s career has hit the buffers at Old Trafford.

“Conte is keen to give his title chasing stars a January boost as they battle with rivals AC Milan at the top of Serie A.

“And the ex-Chelsea boss has identified Lingard as a player who could do a job after being given good reports by current Inter stars Romelu Lukaku and Ashley Young who both joined the Italian’s from United.”

Christian Eriksen clearly has no future at Inter Milan and it’s only a matter of time before the former Spurs man moves out of Italy.

Clubs like West Ham United, Arsenal and PSG have all been linked with Eriksen over the past couple of weeks and if the Danish international heads for the exit doors in time then Conte could try and bring in Jesse Lingard on loan.

Lingard has played in only three games this season for Man United and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will have no problem in sending him out on loan until the summer. But having said that, we feel the Premier League side would want to add a mandatory buy clause in the loan deal since the England international is more or less unwanted at Old Trafford and selling him in the summer will free up a fairly significant amount from the wage bill.

Jesse Lingard still has two years left on his current deal but the way he’s fallen down the pecking order, Solskjaer will certainly not want to drag him for two more years.
