Newly appointed Rangers FC boss Steven Gerrard has been busy in the transfer market ever since he took charge of the Scottish side.

A string of new players are set to join the club in the coming few months and with that, a few players are also expected to vacate their locker rooms at the club.

And one such player is 22-year-old Joe Dodoo.

The forward spent the 2017-18 season out on loan to League One side Charlton Athletic and he is expected to move out on yet another loan deal.

According to reports, Joe Dodoo has already completed his medical at Blackpool on Monday and the parties are currently waiting on a final confirmation from the Gers.

Dodoo is a promising young talent who is touted by many to have a long-term future at Rangers but since his move to Ibrox in 2016, the England U-18 international has failed to make any sort of impact in Scotland.

Joe Dodoo joined Rangers FC on a four year deal from Leicester City for a development fee of £250,000 and the forward has managed to play only 25 games for the Gers – scoring 5 goals.

Dodoo moves to Blackpool from Rangers in the hopes that he can get regular first-team football.
