Jose Mourinho tactics to be used in the FA Cup final?

Jose Mourinho was sacked by Manchester United last December and up until recently, the Portuguese was without a job.

But as soon as Tottenham Hotspur sacked Mauricio Pochettino, it was Jose Mourinho who took charge of the Lilywhites and next up, he takes his side to Old Trafford to take on Manchester United.

As Mourinho returns back to his old club, there have been fears that the OT coaching staff could be rattled by the return of their former boss.

But according to Michael Carrick, his former senior will not accept proceedings for the home side in midweek.

“I have got a lot to thank him (Mourinho) for. He knows that” Carrick told Mail Online.

“He gave me an opportunity with the coaching, the next chapter if you like. I will always be grateful for that. It wasn’t something he had to do, it was his choice.

“For what he has achieved, there is no way I couldn’t learn from him. It was my first time coaching as well so it was all new to me. To have him there and guide me as he did then, obviously, I am all the better for that.

“It is going to be a big game on Wednesday. I really look forward to it. It was a strange game between us last season. We played some good stuff but they have real talent [and Spurs won 3-0].

“I can’t speak for Jose. I can only thank him for what he’s done for me. It is kind of hypothetical. Ole is a terrific manager. He is all about his belief in the club and anything outside that, it doesn’t affect Ole or where our focus is.

“I am not going to compare him to another manager or what he will do if something is said or not said, there is no need for that.”

Jose Mourinho might have had a falling out with the Man United management as well as some big stars in the squad but up until now, he has mostly spoken well about the club as well as the fans.

So we believe, the new Spurs boss will surely get a warm welcome but that will only be limited until the match starts.
