Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has taken his team to their second successive Champions League final and they will now take on Tottenham Hotspur in Madrid.

The Reds overcame Barcelona in sensational fashion which means the UCL final will be an all-English final after a number of seasons.

Not only that, even the Europa League final will see two English teams fight it out after both Chelsea and Arsenal won their semi-finals vs Eintracht and Valencia respectively.

The Europa League final will be played at the Baku Olympic Stadium in Azerbaijan which is a rather long and uncomfortable trip for the teams as well as the fans.

And speaking about the choice of such an unusual venue, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has chosen to vent out his anger at UEFA.

“I think going to Baku, that’s really funny for a European final,” Jurgen Klopp said.

“These guys who make the decisions I don’t know what they have for breakfast really.

“How can you do it? Last year we go to Kiev which is a wonderful city but that a Russian team, or one from that part of the world, will be involved is not really likely.

“You go there and now Madrid has to prepare for 200,000 English fans. Baku I have no clue how to get there or if there is any regular flight at all.

“In these decisions, people must be a much more sensible and reasonable. It is irresponsible.”

The Champions League final is scheduled to be played at the Metropolitano Stadium but the fact that the Europa League final will be played all the way out at Azerbaijan goes on to show just how neglected the second tier of European football really is.

And if it is of any ease then the 2019-20 Europa League final will be played at the Stadion Energa Gdańsk Stadium in Gdańsk which is around 1000 miles from London.

But the Champions League final for the same season will be played at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul which is around 1800 miles from London.
