Celtic FC take on Rangers this Sunday in the Premiership and defender Kieran Tierney is expected to be fit for this match.

Kieran Tierney has been in great form this season for the Bhoys having played in 36 games across all competitions up until now.

But recently the left-back missed Scotland’s recent Euro 2020 qualifiers in Kazakhstan and San Marino due to an injury and initial reports claimed the youngster could be out for a couple of weeks.

Now though, it looks like the injury is not as serious as it seemed initially and Kieran Tierney could be fit before the Bhoys take on Rangers on Sunday.

Having said that though, there is no official confirmation yet but judging by the rumours, the Celtic medical staff are confident that the 21-year-old will be available for selection.

This will be Neil Lennon’s first Old Firm Derby after taking charge of the club and if Kieran Tierney was to be available then it will most certainly be a huge boost for the Bhoys defensively.

This Old Firm derby could very well be the last one Kieran Tierney ever plays since a number of top European clubs have shown interest towards signing him at the end of the season.

The youngster is currently one of the top-rated full-backs in England and the Bhoys will have to fight really hard to keep hold of him during the summer.

Or they could just cash in on him and make a hefty profit.
