Arsenal have been linked with a move for Kieran Tierney in the past couple of months and there’s a growing belief that the Gunners will be able to sign him.

Celtic have been demanding £25 million in order to let the left-back leave this summer but up until now, Arsenal had not been able to meet their demands.

Now though the reports have been claiming that the Premier League side have finally made a bid which the Bhoys are happy about and after a few tweaks, Kieran Tierney should be an Arsenal player.

“Arsenal are closing on an agreement with Celtic for left-back Kieran Tierney after restructuring their £25million offer,” as per the report.

“The deal looked to have collapsed last week as Arsenal refused to increase their initial down payment and fell £5m short of Celtic’s demands.

And on Wednesday, the club even hinted at the fact that Kieran Tierney could be arriving pretty soon.

While talking about the business done during the transfer window, the club said on their official website(as reported):

“It’s been a promising pre-season, with plenty of players catching the eye during our games in the United States, a couple of new additions joining the ranks recently… and, who knows, maybe more will follow in the not-too-distant future.”

But if the left-back does arrive, which we believe will happen then it will not leave room for a new centre-back – something the squad badly needs.

As per an analysis, the signings of Dani Ceballos and Nicolas Pepe, means Arsenal are in a position where they can sign 2 more senior players out of which only one can be a non-home grown player.

And as per the EPL rules, Scottish players are deemed as NHG which means should Kieran Tierney make a switch then Emery will not be able to bring in a foreign defender.

This means that either Arsenal will have to let Laurent Koscielny leave for the Ligue 1 or forget about bringing in a new central defender.
