Rangers FC manager Steven Gerrard has been trying to bring back Liverpool’s Ryan Kent on loan once again. But with each passing day, the transfer is proving to be a really difficult one to pull off.

Last season, the winger was one of the best players in the Gers squad and Steven Gerrard has made it clear that he is willing to wait until the end of the transfer window in order to bring him back to Ibrox.

Gerrard said“Am I willing to wait until the last day of the window for Kent? I’m willing to wait until the last second.

“I’ll give it to the very last second to get Ryan back here. He’s an exception because he was outstanding last year. I feel he’s ready to go again, with the confidence he should have from last season.

“But we’re still talking about a player who belongs to Liverpool. They’ll make the decision on him and we’ll be totally respectful to the club and Jurgen Klopp.

“Everyone knows I want him back and I’ll give it until the last second. But if it doesn’t happen, it doesn’t happen. I haven’t spoken to him for a while, so we’ll wait patiently to see if he wants to come back and respect Liverpool’s decision.”

But recently, Jurgen Klopp struck a heavy blow to the Premiership outfit by making it clear that Ryan Kent will only be allowed to move out this summer if the transfer is permanent.

Klopp said(as reported): “It(the loan spell) helped a lot. He came back a completely a different player.

“It was a very important year. It helped, good club, good manager and means good competition.

“Exactly the right thing for him at the right moment.

“But going back? (Only) If Rangers can buy him. The time is over giving him on loan.

“At a specific age, a player needs to find a place to settle and stuff like this. But we will see. A loan is not planned.”

And recent reports suggest that the Teddy Bears have been priced out of the transfer with the Anfield outfit reportedly wanted around £7 million in order to release Ryan Kent.

This amount of money is certainly out of reach for Rangers but rumours suggest that Gerrard will try and use his influence in order to convince Liverpool to release Ryan Kent on a loan deal – maybe with an option to buy.
