Napoli visit Anfield this Tuesday to take on Liverpool in the Champions League and a lot will be resting on this game – for both the clubs.

Liverpool need to win this game in order to qualify for the knockout stages whereas a draw will be more than enough for Napoli.

Carlo Ancelotti though has maintained that his side will get onto the pitch with an attacking mindset but we all know that the Serie A outfit do not need to push too hard.

And the Reds, on the other hand, will have to go all in order to pick all three points. But can they actually afford to do that with so many critical injuries?

Liverpool team news vs Napoli:

The good news for Jurgen Klopp is the fact that all of his attacking players are fully fit for the match and even Mo Salah has managed to find form at the perfect time.

Sadio Mane started the Bournemouth game on the bench and only came on as a substitute but the forward will be back in the starting line-up against Napoli.

Xherdan Shaqiri has played a few games on the trot and we feel the Swiss international will be rested on Tuesday.

James Milner played at right-back in the weekend but Trent Alexander Arnold will be back in his rightful position against Napoli.

Jordan Henderson will also be back in the starting line-up meaning Fabinho will once again be pushed back to the bench.

Virgil Van Dijk and Joel Matip played in central defence against the Cherries but Jurgen Klopp will keep his fingers crossed for Dejan Lovren.

Lovren is recovering from a concussion and there is a slight doubt whether the centre-back will be available in time for selection.

Liverpool’s expected line-up:

Alisson Becker, Robertson, Virgil Van Dijk, Dejan Lovren, Alexander Arnold, Henderson, Wijnaldum, Naby Keita, Sadio Mane, Mo Salah, Roberto Firmino.
