Liverpool breezed past Watford in the Premier League on Saturday beating the Hornets 5-0, picking up right from where they had left off before the international break.

The Reds took the lead in the 8th minute of the match and from then onwards it was all about Jurgen Klopp’s side. Ranieri’s side were pushed firmly onto the back foot and with each passing minute, Liverpool asserted their domination on the home side.

The win means Liverpool are yet to lose a game in the Premier League this season and they have managed to hold onto the top spot(unless Chelsea win their respective game).

It was a five-star performance from Jurgen Klopp’s men and we take a look at the Liverpool player ratings as they carved open the Hornets with the utmost precision.

Liverpool player rating vs Watford:

Kelleher: 7/10

The stand-in keeper had very little to do during the 90 minutes making only two saves through the whole match. The Liverpool No 1 was hardly tested.

Trent Alexander-Arnold: 7.5/10

The England international has successfully rediscovered his form this season and he finished the match with a passing accuracy of 86%. He had very little defensive duty and most of the time he was in the opposition half.

Joel Matip: 7.2/10

Matip managed to keep the threat at bay along with his defensive partner Virgil Van Dijk winning two duels and he also helped to build attacks from the back making 40 passes in the opposition half.

Van Dijk: 7.5/10

The Dutch international was rock-solid as ever making a total of 103 passes with an accuracy of 93%. He did not have much to do as Liverpool were completely dominant.

Andy Robertson: 7/10

The left-back was taken off in the second half as Liverpool had successfully managed to shut down Watford. It was a routine outing for the Scottish international.

Jordan Henderson: 7.4/10

Henderson was playing in defensive midfield due to the absence of Fabinho and Thiago. The England international won close to 50% of his duels and managed to make 12 recoveries.

Naby Keita: 7/10

Keita was given a rare start and thankfully the midfielder did not disappoint this time around. This solid performance is sure to give him a lot of confidence.

James Milner: 7.1/10

With Fabinho, Thiago and Curtis Jones all missing Milner had to slot into central midfield alongside Henderson and like always he did a stellar job. He also provided one assist.

Sadio Mane: 8.5/10

Mane was the one who opened the scoring in the 8th minute of the match and it set the tone for the rest of the match. The forward managed four shots during the match out of which two were on target and one found the back of the net.

Mo Salah: 9.5/10

The Egyptian is having another top-class season for Liverpool and on Saturday he netted one and assisted one goal.

Roberto Firmino: 9.5/10

Bobby Firmino was selected ahead of Diogo Jota and the Brazilian fully justified his selection with an assist and a hat-trick. After this performance, the Liverpool boss will have to make a call as to who starts upfront when they face Manchester United next weekend.

Liverpool substitutes:

Tsimikas: 6.5/10

Came on in the second half had a routine outing.

Oxlade-Chamberlain: 6.5/10

Had around 30 minutes on the pitch did not have much to do.

Neco Williams: 6.8/10

Another second-half substitute. He managed to provide an assist.
