Liverpool beat Arsenal 3-1 in the Premier League which now means the Reds are the only unbeaten side in the competition.

Going into this match, Arsenal and Liverpool were the only two sides who were yet to drop points but goals from Mo Salah and Joel Matip ensured that the Gunners were not able to carry forward that streak.

The loss now means that Arsenal are now third on the Premier League table with six points as Man City have moved above them.

And according to Danny Murphy, the is just the start of the downfall for Unai Emery’s side.

Murphy has predicted that while Liverpool will keep getting better during the course of the season, Arsenal, on the other hand, could have a really poor campaign.

“Arsenal will need a telescope to see Liverpool by the end of the season,” the former Reds midfielder told talkSPORT.

“It was boys against men, it was too easy. Liverpool didn’t even get into proper gear!

“For parts in that first-half, it was so easy for Liverpool. It was too easy to get into the final third because of Arsenal’s tactics and Unai Emery has to hold his hands up for that.

“Alright, Arsenal had a tight four and it was hard [to break down] but you can’t play against a top team and let them get so high up the pitch so easily in wide areas, especially with the full-backs they’ve got.

“If you go to Liverpool every year and get done, why not try something different?

“It looked like a system that had been put on a board and they hadn’t worked on it.”

Next week, Liverpool will hit the road to take on Burnley FC at Turf Moor but there is no respite for Arsenal as they welcome Spurs for the North London Derby on Sunday.
