Tottenham Hotspur had suddenly seen a dip in form but they have quickly managed to stabilize their ship by picking up a comfortable 3-1 win over Leicester City last weekend.

Like Liverpool, Spurs also have a lot on the line because a loss on Saturday could effectively end their hopes of a top-four finish. Tottenham Hotspur are just two points behind Arsenal meaning they cannot afford to drop any more points.

Antonio Conte’s side have scored 12 goals in their previous five matches but they are very much the underdogs in this tie because Liverpool are undefeated in their last 11 home matches against Tottenham in all competitions. The Reds are one of the best sides in Europe right now so there’s no way Spurs will go into this match, thinking they can dominate Klopp’s team.

Thankfully, Antonio Conte does not have any fresh injuries to deal with before this high-profile encounter so we expect him to make little to no changes to the side that beat Leicester City.

Tottenham team news for the Liverpool game:

Going into Saturday’s match, Conte has four injury absentees and three of them are in the defence.

Matt Doherty and Tanganga are ruled out for the rest of the campaign while Sergio Reguilon is sidelined with a groin injury. The full-back is not going to be fit in time for Saturday’s game meaning Sessegnon will get another start.

Bentancur and Hojbjerg are going to pair up in midfield because Oliver Skipp is also out until the summer and the Tottenham manager does not trust Harry Winks.

Son and Harry Kane were on song once again as the pair netted all three goals against Leicester City so they will hold onto their place but the manager will most certainly push Lucas Moura back to the bench.

Moura had a very muted outing versus the Foxes and when he was replaced by Kulusevski, the January arrival made an instant impact with an assist. Moura has fallen down the pecking order this season so there’s no way the Spurs boss will utilise him against a team like Liverpool.

The front three are going to be key for Tottenham Hotspur and if they can click then there’s every chance that Liverpool will stumble at home. Spurs need to win this match at any cost if they want to overtake Arsenal but even a draw won’t be a bad result for Antonio Conte’s team.
