Manchester United left-back Luke Shaw came under repeated criticism from his manager Jose Mourinho during the 2017-18 season so much so that everyone felt Shaw will be the first person to leave the club during the summer.
Instead of leaving, the English International has chosen to stay back and fight for his place in the starting line-up.
Luke Shaw has entered the final 12 months of his contract at Old Trafford but the left-back is determined to win over Jose Mourinho’s faith.
While most of the United players were enjoying their holidays during the summer, Shaw chose to return back to training early and worked personally with United’s head of strength and conditioning, Gary Walker in Dubai.
And all that hard work during pre-season seems to have paid off as the 23-year-old has started the new season on the front foot – scoring in Man United’s 2-1 victory against the Foxes.
But despite all the efforts, Luke Shaw is still facing weight issues and has been the subject of critique due to bulky figure.
So in order to get back into shape, Shaw has brought in Manchester-based private chef Jonny Marsh as his personal nutritionist.

Marsh who has a long list of clients boasts to have worked with the likes of Kevin De Bruyne, Kyle Walker and John Terry.
But the chef has described the package with Luke Shaw as ‘one of the biggest’ which will see Marsh cook each evening meal in the defender’s home.
Luke Shaw will also get meal preps, pre-match meals and special nutritional shots to help boost performance levels on matchday.
And on Wednesday he posted an Instagram story of a meal prepared by Jhonny Marsh.
Shaw is determined to get back into shape as soon as possible and these efforts might help him bag a new contract at Manchester United.
After an impressive performance on the opening weekend, Luke Shaw is expected to start against Brighton at the Falmer Stadium.
