Man City travel to London this week to take on Spurs in the Champions League and this will be the first European encounter at the new home of the Lilywhites.

But going into this crunch game, Pep Guardiola has two major problems.

The first is the obvious fatigue factor especially since the Citizens played a hard fought game in the FA Cup on Saturday whereas Spurs played their previous game around six days ago.

And the second problem for the Man City boss is the injuries surrounding some of his top players.

Man City news: Injuries going into the Spurs game

Sergio Aguero:

The Argentine is taking a lot of time to recover from his muscle strain and right now he remains a doubt for the Champions League clash.

Aguero was supposed to feature in the first XI vs Brighton on Saturday but eventually, it was Gabriel Jesus who played up front as Kun could not even make the bench.

While most reports believe that the striker should be fit to play vs Spurs but up until the matchday squad is announced there still remains a doubt.

UPDATE:

Aguero has returned back to training and it looks like the Argentine will be named in the first XI vs Spurs on Tuesday.

Kyle Walker:

The right-back picked up a hamstring injury during the FA Cup win over Brighton and rumours have it that the player is expected to be out for a couple of weeks.

If this holds true then Danilo will play at right-back on Tuesday when Man City take on Spurs.

Oleksandr Zinchenko:

The Ukranian picked up a thigh injury last week vs Cardiff City and he is most certainly ruled out for the first leg of the Champions League encounter in London.
