Man United welcome FC Barcelona in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals on Wednesday and almost everyone knows this will be an uphill task for the Red Devils.

They pulled off a superb win in the Round of 16 in order to knock out PSG but the Catalans will surely not be as careless as the Parisians.

It is surely an uphill task for Solskjaer and his team but like the Norwegian had said a could of weeks ago, ‘Mountains are to be climbed’.

Man United news vs Barcelona:

Marcus Rashford and Ander Herrera both missed Man United’s previous game in the league due to injuries but the duo is expected to be fit for the Champions League clash.

Ander Herrera will slot back into midfield alongside Nemanja Matic and Paul Pogba.

Luke Shaw will start at left-back while Ashley Young will play as the right-back and both of them are just one booking away from missing the return leg at the Camp Nou.

Anthony Martial came off the bench during Man United’s loss to Wolves last week but the Frenchman should start up front alongside Marcus Rashford as Solskjaer is expected to play with a front two.

This means Jesse Lingard will play as a link between the midfield and the attack.

Romelu Lukaku though fit should only find a place on the substitutes bench and might come on in the second half.
