Manchester City have done very little transfer business during the summer bringing in only three players since the end of the previous season.
And amongst these three signings, Riayd Mahrez was the only big name to have arrived at the shores of Manchester. But unlike their local rivals, the poor transfer market dealing does not seem to have hurt the club as they got off to a wonderful start in the first weekend – beating Arsenal at the Emirates.
Apart from Riyad Mahrez, Man City have signed two more players – one of them being 19-year-old Daniel Arzani.
Arzani who is primarily an attacking midfielder signed for the club last week from Melbourne City FC which is part of the City football group.
But any youngster signing for the defending league champions will know that it is virtually impossible to break into the first team under Guardiola and Man City made it pretty clear that they wished to send out Daniel Arzani on loan immediately after he joined the club.
And it seems that the 19-year-old is on his way to Scotland in order to join Brendan Rodgers’ Celtic FC.
Both the clubs have already agreed on a season-long loan deal for the youngster and the move it expected to be completed in the coming few days.

The English transfer window closed last Thursday but the Scottish window is open until the end of August meaning non-English clubs can still buy and sell players.
Brendan Rodgers had a bit of a politically correct statement when asked about Daniel Arzani but he confirmed that the 19-year-old is on his way to Glasgow.
Rodgers said: “We are hopeful. He has completed on the Man City side and I think most of it is virtually complete on our side.
“He hasn’t done anything since his last game for Australia, and that is a little while back.
“So he is going to have to come in and adjust and get up to speed and adapt, and get some hard work in before we can consider him for a game.”
The move is taking longer than expected but Daniel Arzani was seen at Celtic’s Champions League qualifiers past week against AEK Athens which means that the loan move is almost certain.

Brendan Rodgers wanted to bring back another Man City youngster – Patrick Roberts to the club and the Hoops manager had not succeeded in that ploy as Roberts is scheduled to move elsewhere on a loan spell.
