Manchester United are eyeing Zinedine Zidane as the replacement to Jose Mourinho – as per the latest gossip in France.
After the 3-1 defeat at the hands of the Hammers, we had reported that Jose Mourinho is on the verge of being sacked and now reports from the French media are suggesting Manchester United want to waste no time.
According to a report, the Old Trafford outfit have already held discussions with Zinedine Zidane over the possible role of being the next Manchester United manager.
Currently though, United have no plans of sacking Jose Mourinho and the Portuguese will remain at the club possibly till the end of this week.
The management at Manchester United are taking this time to find a replacement to Jose Mourinho. And now it seems they have made the first contact with Zinedine Zidane.
It though it still unclear if the former Real Madrid manager has agreed to take the reigns of the club but one thing is for certain that Zinedine Zidane is not the only manager who is on the shortlist of Manchester United.
As per our sources, the club are also looking at the likes of Antonio Conte and Mauricio Pochettino as a replacement to their current manager but their’s no denying that Zinedine Zidane remains the favourite of the management.
