Manchester United will take on Fulham at Craven Cottage this weekend and the Red Devils will be looking to keep their unbeaten run going.

United have dropped only two points in the Premier League ever since Solskjaer took charge of the club and the fans are expecting another easy win vs Fulham on Saturday.

Man United had very few injury concerns going into the match with Chris Smalling and Marcos Rojo the only absentees.

But now the club have confirmed that these two defenders have also reported back to training.

Man United revealed in a statement: “One player who could be in contention to return in the clash at Craven Cottage and therefore feature against his former club, is Chris Smalling.

“The centre-back has not appeared in any of the 10 games under Solskjaer, having not played since the reverse fixture against Fulham in December, which the Reds won 4-1.

“In Smalling’s absence, a pair from Victor Lindelof, Eric Bailly and Phil Jones have operated at the heart of defence.

“Marcos Rojo is back in training after travelling to Argentina to aid his recovery from his latest injury setback. “

Victor Lindelof has played regularly since Solskjaer took charge of the club and given that Man United will take on PSG next week, the centre-back could very well be given a much-deserved rest.

This means Chris Smalling could return to the first XI partnering either Eric Bailly or Phil Jones.

As per the latest reports, Marcos Rojo is still not match-fit meaning the game vs Fulham could be too early to mark his return.
