Man United have a really good squad right now but the club might be looking to bring in a couple of new players during the summer transfer window, as per their manager.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer while talking to Sky Sports has admitted that his forwards have done more than a decent job so far this season but he’s constantly looking to improve his squad.

“I think Mason [Greenwood], Anthony [Martial] and Marcus have been fantastic this season, they’ve scored up to 50 goals between them,” the United boss told Sky Sports.

“Marcus got his injury, on course for his best season, Anthony too, and Mason, of course, is just a unique talent with his goal-scoring ability.

“But we’re always looking to improve the squad. This uncertainty in the market now, who knows how football and the market is going to be, but I’m very happy with the squad I’ve got.

“Today’s world is different to what it was two months ago. We’ve got to adjust, adapt, there’s clubs out there struggling more than us financially. It’s a new world, and I think the transfer market this summer will be completely different to what anyone thought it would be.”

Man United preparing to spend big this summer?

Already, Man United have been linked with a series of top forwards and a number of them are surely on their way to Old Trafford this summer.

Dortmund youngster Jadon Sancho has reportedly agreed on a deal to sign for the Red Devils at the end of this season while the OT outfit are also said to be targeting a move for Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Also, there have been talks about the club looking to provide Odion Ighalo with a permanent deal for the 2020-21 season.

Apart from these three players, Man United have also been linked with a host of other top names but we feel, Solskjaer will be very precise about the number of players he wishes to bring in before the upcoming season.

Unlike managers before him, the Norwegian has not blindly signed players over the past two transfer windows and we expect the trend to remain the same this summer as well.
