Man United drew yet another game in the Premier League which means the Red Devils now have only five points from the first four games they have played.

Playing vs Southampton, Man United made the perfect start thanks to a 10th-minute striker from summer signing Daniel James.

But it was Vestergaard who brought the Saints back on level terms with an equaliser right before the hour mark and speaking after the match, Juan Mata revealed the possible reason why

“Two points dropped,” the Man United attacking midfielder said(as reported).

“We were expecting Southampton (to have) some chances and play some good football for some moments.

“I think we have to come to these kinds of games and win and come back to Manchester with three points or the feeling is frustration and two points dropped again.

“When you score the first goal and you have the ball and you seem that you are having the tempo of the game, you need to kill (it off) and score the second goal and then the game is more or less done.”

Apart from Juan Mata, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has also claimed that his players need to be more consistent infront of goal if they wish to pick up wins.

But sadly we do not see Man United being an absolute dominate force going into attack especially since they have not been able to bring in a replacement for both Alexis Sanchez as well as Romelu Lukaku.

The front line looks pretty thin with Rashford, Mason Greenwood and Martial and with the kind of attacking football which the likes of Liverpool and Man City play, it will be really tough for the Red Devils to keep pace.

This though is not the first time that a Man United manager is keeping faith in his youngsters to take the team across the line so we wouldn’t want to count our chickens before they hatch.
