Man United travel to Bramall Lane this weekend to take on Sheffield United in the English Premier League and right now Solskjaer is dealing with a lot of injury concerns.

The Red Devils picked up a solid win vs Brighton right before the international break and these three points helped them maintain pace with the other clubs who are fighting for the top-four spot this season.

United have had a really troubled first half of the season but it seems things are finally falling into place despite a number of injury concerns and the Brighton game was proof that Ole can actually arrange a good attacking line-up if he is given time.

Having said that though, all the progress could go down the drain this weekend since the Blades have been in top form so far this season and have lost just a single match in their last six league matches.

Man United news vs Sheffield:

Solskjaer has had a number of big injury concerns to deal with and the latest addition to the list is that of Scott McTominay who picked up an ankle injury during the last match.

The Scottish international pulled out of national duties too and as per the latest reports, he will not be fit in time to take on Sheffield United this weekend.

This will certainly be a major setback for Man United since the midfielder has been in top form this campaign but with him out of the picture, Andreas Pereira will hopefully play in central midfield alongside Fred.

Paul Pogba is still out of the picture but some rumours claim the Frenchman is eyeing an early December return while Nemanja Matic should be fit within a week or so.

Luke Shaw and Axel Tuanzebe remain sidelined with injuries meaning the defensive line shouldn’t see any major reshuffles this weekend.

Brandon Williams impressed vs Brighton before the international break and the manager will surely be tempted to give him one more start while Lindelof and Harry Maguire play in central defence.

Daniel James and Marcus Rashford will play on either wing for Man United while Anthony Martial operates upfront and against Brighton, we have seen that if these three players combine then they can reap absolute havoc.

Since Pereira will probably slot in central midfield, the attacking midfielder’s role is up for grabs and we believe the manager should opt for Juan Mata over Jesse Lingard in that role on Sunday.

Man United’s predicted XI vs Sheffield:

Goalkeeper: David De Gea.

Defenders: Maguire, Lindelof, Brandon William, Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

Midfielders: Fred, Pereira, Juan Mata.

Forwards: Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial, Daniel James.
