Man United have been on a roll during the last week and a half and in such a rich vein of form, they take on Everton in the Premier League at home on Sunday.

The Old Trafford outfit have beaten Spurs and Man City last week and in midweek they picked up a 4-0 win over AZ Alkmaar in the Europa League which is much reason to believe that Ole’s men are on their way to another three points this weekend vs the Toffees.

Solksjaer has really set up his side to play counter-attacking football and going into their next match the manager’s regular’s first XI is more or less fit meaning the team selection should not be much of a headache.

Also, Chelsea have lost their EPL clash on Saturday meaning if Man United can beat Everton then they would move to within two points of the top-four spot.

Man United team news vs Everton:

The defence had been a problem for Man United last season but it looks like Ole has finally sorted things out at the club with Victor Lindelof and Harry Maguire becoming the club’s first-choice centre-backs.

Luke Shaw picked up cramps during Man United’s win vs City last weekend but the left-back is fit and should reprise his role in the backline against Everton on Sunday.

Paul Pogba is nearing a return but the manager has made it clear the midfielder will start training next week meaning he is ruled out of this weekend’s game.

The manager said: “Paul will probably start training with us next week properly. So let’s see.”

The absence of the Frenchman means it will be Fred and Scott McTominay who will once again start in central defence for Man United on Sunday.

Jesse Lingard has been an injury concern for Man United but as per the latest reports, the England international will go through a late fitness test in order to determine his availability.

The manager said: “He wasn’t training today[on 12th December], but we’ll check him on Saturday probably. He’s really come good now; he’s been fit, he’s been training well, so we hope so.”

The front-three for Man United have reaped havoc in the past few games so barring an injury the trio of Martial, Rashford and Daniel James are sure to start up front against Everton.
