Manchester United appointed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as their caretaker boss last month after the sacking of Jose Mourinho.

And ever since the arrival of the Norwegian, the atmosphere at the club has changed completely.

The players seem to have found their rhythm back and since the arrival of Solskjaer, Man United haven’t lost a single game.

And now former Man United player has revealed that the caretaker boss is not only looking after his first team players.

Solskjaer being a disciple of Sir Alex Ferguson knows very well the importance of youth and according to Nicky Butt, the manager has chosen to cancel as many as three loan deals for their academy graduates.

Speaking to The Mirror, Butt said: “This opportunity has come and I know he’s delighted to have that.

“I spoke to him on many occasions and I also know that he’s going to take it with both hands and try and grab hold of that for as long as he can and hopefully it’ll be a long, long time.

“The dynamics have changed now because the two or three lads that were going to go out on loan are now being involved in the training camps, involved in training, on the bench, in the squad.”

Immediately after the arrival of Solskjaer at Man United, youngsters like Angel Gomez and Tahith Chong were training with the first team squad and some of them have even managed to play a few minutes in crucial games.

The Man United is clearly pushing the envelope forward as far as the youngsters are concerned and if he manages to get the job permanently then players like Chong and McTominay will surely become first-team regulars.

Man United will take on Arsenal in the FA Cup and the manager is expected to name a couple of youngster on the bench once again.
