Man United picked up a superb win vs Arsenal in the fourth round of the FA Cup last week.

And with that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has now made it eight wins out of eight ever since he took charge of the club.

United beat Arsenal 3-1 and now they turn their attention towards the Premier League when they welcome Burnley at home.

Man United so far have suffered 32 injuries this season – the most by any Premier League club.

But right now, they are the club with one of the smallest injury lists.

And speaking before the game, the Man United manager has confirmed that Chris Smalling has returned back to full training and could be named in the first XI vs Burnley on Tuesday.

”Chris has trained for a week now, so he’s looking good,” Ole said.

It’s about when do we get him into the team.

The return of Chris Smalling would mean that Phil Jones could move back to the bench and Smalling would partner Victor Lindelof in central defence.

Marouane Fellaini is still out with a calf strain and the midfielder will only return back to full fitness towards the end of February.

Marcos Rojo will also be unavailable for selection against Burnley as he is still recovering from a knock.

The Man United manager has also hinted that he is planning to rotate his first XI vs Burnley which means the likes of Alexis Sanchez and Romelu Lukaku could be pushed back to the bench.

So far, it’s been no problem, Solskjaer added.

We’ve got so many games. As soon as it becomes one game a week, it might be a problem.

“We rotate even during games. When we can put Anthony [Martial] and ‘Rashy’ [Marcus Rashford] on for Alexis and Rom, who did a fantastic job [at Arsenal], it is only going to help us. The players have been very, very good at staying ready and being ready when they get on.”
